Do people notice (or care) if your post was written by AI?

Do (non-marketing) people actually notice that you're using AI to write your posts?
I was wondering the other day if I'd just become hyper-tuned in to people using AI, because we're on these platforms a lot.
To me, AI posts are as clear as day.
There are the obvious tell-tale signs of em-dashes, over-enthusiastic phrases, too many bulleted lists and, of course, the range of emojis and symbols that most people would struggle to generate from their keyboard...
But it's more than that.
It's that the posts don't really say anything... They're just 'meh'.
But that's by design.
AI LLMs predict the most likely combination of words based on their extensive database of 'the whole internet'.
The 'most likely combination of words'... which means it's literally the average of everything out there.
Average.
It fills space... It creates a post... But it doesn't sound like you wrote it.
(Even to someone who's not looking at socials as much as me!)
Does it matter that a post is written by AI?
Well, the more people use these tools, the more people will be reading the output - and the more people will get that "gut feel" that you didn't write it.
"So what?" I hear you say.
Do you want people to think you take shortcuts?
That you pass things off as your own?
That you cut corners just to complete a task?
That you're lazy?
No matter how 'natural-sounding' the LLMs get, they're still the same tools that everyone's using.
That means we'll all see the same types of content - and we'll all start to get that sixth sense when someone's just using AI to generate posts.
And the problem is, their next thought is likely to be... "If they're cutting corners there, where else are they cutting corners in their business?"
How should you use AI tools in a creative setting?
Use LLMs as a tool to bounce ideas off.
Use them as a starting point to get a structure, but then rewrite it (as you read it) in your own tone of voice.
Because your tone of voice and your opinion are things that can't be truly replicated - and the people who read your posts will be able to tell the difference (even if they don't work in marketing!).
